I'm more interested in being good than being famous....

I shoot a little bit, maybe two rolls, medium format, which is 20 pictures, and if it's not working, I change the position.

There must be a reason why photographers are not very good at verbal communication. I think we get lazy.

My lens of choice was always the 35 mm. It was more environmental. You can't come in closer with the 35 mm.

I was always obsessed with being famous. I had Marilyn Monroe paper dolls as a child, and I was always obsessed with her. I've just been really driven in that direction, and none of my friends were. So, I don't know what put that bug in me at a young age.

Bruce Lee was very famous. I watched his movies and he is amazing. He is a martial arts master, his philosophy, his movement, both physically and mentally, were very strong.

I'm glad that my parents missed one thing that was really unbelievable. They saw me hit this great success. It was a blast and we had a lot of laughs. And it was just an amazing time. They passed away. And then after I got, you know, famous, all these haters came out of nowhere.
