You're only lonely if you're not there for you....

It's better to be healthy alone than sick with someone else.

We all have a social mask, right? We put it on, we go out, put our best foot forward, our best image. But behind that social mask is a personal truth, what we really, really believe about who we are and what we're capable of.

My dad used to say, 'You wouldn't worry so much about what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.

What is the worst of woes that wait on age? What stamps the wrinkle deeper on the brow? To view each loved one blotted from life's page, And be alone on earth, as I am now.

The age in which we live, this non-stop distraction, is making it more impossible for the young generation to ever have the curiosity or discipline... because you need to be alone to find out anything.

Reason is a crutch for age, but youth is strong enough to walk alone.

I like to be alone so I can write. But focus can hurt you. I don't want to be some stress casualty in early middle age.
